On Wednesday 11 June 2014, MLRC will be welcoming Minister Jan O’Sullivan, Minister of State, Department of Environment, Community and Local Government, with special responsibility for Housing and Planning, to launch MLRC’s 2013 Annual Report.
On the same day as the launch, the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2014 is being brought before the Dáil. This Bill deals with very important matters relating to the procedures for carrying out evictions by local authorities and the new Housing Assistance Payment. Minister Jan O’Sullivan will be in the Dáil for this debate and will be launching MLRC’s Annual Report at our launch event at 12 noon.

The Wisdom Centre is located within the grounds of Sophia Housing, 25 Cork Street. Sophia Housing is on the corner of Cork Street and Ormond Street. The reception is located at the Cork Street entrance. There is limited on-street parking in the vicinity. There is also public transport from the City Centre to Cork Street by Dublin Bus numbers 77A, 77N, 27, 56A and 151.
