Mercy Law Resource Centre presented our first Comedy Gala fundraiser on Tuesday 1 April 2014 in the Sugar Club, Leeson Street, Dublin 2.
Thank you to everyone who came – you raised over €2500 for MLRC! Thank you for your huge support which helps ensure that MLRC can continue to provide and develop our services of free legal advice and representation, befriending service, training & legal support and policy work, to help those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
A huge thank you from MLRC to Jarlath Regan for the idea, for producing the show and for MC’ing, so generously and with such fun, and to the brilliant John Colleary, Colm O’Regan and Foil Arms and Hog for their fantastic performances! Thank you to Barry Murphy for accepting the invitation so readily. Unfortunately, due to illness, Barry could not make it on the night. Colm O’Regan kindly and with great generosity stepped in for Barry at the last minute. All of the performers immediately agreed to the invitation to perform for free at the Gala. They made this event possible. Thank you!
We hope to make this an annual event and we look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s Comedy Gala in aid of MLRC!
